$10,000 In Scholarships Awarded to Mainers

The Evergreen Credit Union Education Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 scholarship program, awarding four Evergreen Credit Union members with $2,500 scholarships to support their post-secondary education.

The scholarships, which can be used toward university, college, or trade school programs, aim to help members pursue their educational goals and build meaningful careers.

This year’s awards were selected from a competitive pool of 60 applicants, highlighting the strong commitment to learning and community impact among Evergreen Credit Union members.

The 2026 Evergreen Credit Union Education Foundation scholarship recipients are:

  • Nathan G.
  • Jordan K.
  • Jillian F.

The Foundation awards four scholarships to eligible members pursuing higher education annually, reinforcing its mission to expand access to education and help individuals achieve their aspirations. In addition to academic achievements, applicants were evaluated based on their community involvement, personal experiences, and future goals.

“Investing in education is an investment in the future of our communities,” said Jason Lindstrom, Chair of the Evergreen Credit Union Education Foundation Board of Directors. “By supporting our members as they pursue higher education, we’re helping to strengthen Southern Maine’s workforce, foster innovation, and empower individuals to give back in meaningful ways. These scholarships reflect our commitment to building thriving communities for generations to come.”

The Evergreen Credit Union Education Foundation, established as a nonprofit dedicated to increasing access to education, provides financial assistance through scholarships for members and their families pursuing post-secondary opportunities.

The Foundation continues to accept donations to grow the scholarship fund and extend these opportunities to even more members in the years to come.
