Member Appreciation Night Celebrates 75 Years of Service
Evergreen Credit Union hosted their 3rd Annual Member Appreciation Night, a free event to celebrate their members and the communities they serve on August 17, 2026 at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland.
Member Appreciation Night featured catered dinner and dessert, cash bar, and an opportunity to connect with over 325 members, Community Partners, and businesses attending that evening.
Evergreen’s top 5 Dealer Partners, businesses, Community Partners, and their Advocate of the Year were recognized during the event for their commitment to the community and their partnership with the credit union. “The partners’ confidence in Evergreen allows us to serve more Mainers, welcome new members, and provide financing and savings options built around each member’s needs,” said Brenda Pollock, Evergreen’s AVP, Direct & Indirect Dealer Programs.
Member Appreciation Night marked 75 years since their first day of business in 1951. Jason Lindstrom, Evergreen’s President/CEO, led a brief recollection of the credit union’s history, impact, and growth at the event and thanked attendees for continuing to support the credit union’s community impact.
After a successful inaugural event in 2024 and the large increase in attendance in 2025, their team was ecstatic about the great event turnout on August 17. “We knew the event was appealing to members, but we didn’t know how fast the word spread of this event,” said Jason Lindstrom, President/CEO of Evergreen Credit Union. “Member Appreciation Night is an event we look forward to every year because we get to shake the hands of our members and thank them for helping Evergreen get to where we are today.”
Evergreen Credit Union is Maine’s 4th largest credit union at over $658 million in assets. They serve the financial needs of over 32,000 members in Maine’s 6 southernmost counties.
