Protect your account from costly overdraft fees using Courtesy Pay.

Avoid problems when your checking account is short on money due to:

  • An accounting or payment error
  • Emergency
  • Timing of a deposit or transaction hold

With Courtesy Pay, enjoy these benefits1:

  • Peace of mind — you're covered!
  • Convenience
  • Avoid hassles
  • Resolve payment problems quicker

How it works:

Courtesy Pay allows us to pay an item presented for payment against a checking account even if it causes the account to become overdrawn. Evergreen is not obligated to make any overdraft payments; however, if other overdraft protection methods are established, such as a line of credit or automatic transfer from other accounts, we will always look to pay any overdraft by those other methods before paying an overdraft utilizing Courtesy Pay. Please note that Evergreen charges a $32.00 fee whenever an overdraft occurs.1
