Maine Mariners and Evergreen CU Score Goals for Food

The Maine Mariners and Evergreen Credit Union are teaming up to launch Goals For Food, which benefit the Maine Credit Unions Campaign for Ending Hunger.
Evergreen and the Mariners will donate $50 for every goal scored by a Mariners player on home ice during the regular 2023-2024 season. “Based on the Maine Mariners’ goal records from past years, we’re aiming to donate upwards of $5,000 to Mainers in need this season,” said Jason Lindstrom, President/CEO of Evergreen.
The Maine Mariners have been collaborating with Evergreen since the team’s start in 2017 through Evergreen’s Community Partners program. Through the program, Evergreen supports and connects many of southern Maine’s impactful community organizations. “We’re proud to have been here with the Mariners since day one,” said Lindstrom. “Goals for Food is just another way we work together. We hope to expand our efforts even more next year!”
